Magazine Editorial Design
Denim Futures is a self-initiated 40-page editorial project created to showcase my expertise in magazine layout, typography, and creative direction. Designed in 8.5x11" format for both digital and print presentation, the publication explores denim culture through a mix of feature articles, style guides, interviews, industry insights, and visual storytelling.
The layout employs a balance of structured grids and freestyle compositions, using a mix of serif and sans-serif typography for readability and hierarchy. Visual cohesion is achieved through curated imagery, graphic elements, and consistent styling across sections, reflecting industry standards in contemporary magazine design.
Beyond aesthetics, this project demonstrates my ability to conceptualize and execute a complete editorial product from research and content planning to layout design and publication flow. It serves as a showcase of how editorial design can transform ideas into engaging narratives that inform, inspire, and connect with readers.
